I’m still navigating it.” Priyanka also shared that she still feels new to her English-language career and continues to learn every day. Wherever I go, India goes with me," she said. Talking about her production company, Purple Pebble Pictures, Priyanka explained that giving a platform to meaningful Indian stories is at the heart of her work. She said, “With my production house, I try to make sure stories and filmmakers from our diaspora who want to tell our stories get a platform.” She added that supporting women and young talent is a key part of her mission. “Whether it’s supporting women, or filmmakers from India who want an international platform… Whatever I can do to help get their stories and work out there, I try to do in my own small way.” Even with her global achievements, she remains humble, saying she doesn’t see herself as “super established” yet.
